At LoloStyl, we take immense pride in the quality of our gemstone jewellery. Due to the precious and handcrafted nature of our products, returns are accepted ONLY for defective or damaged products within 15 days of delivery. We do not accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size selection, or any other non-defect reasons.

When Can You Return?

Returns are allowed ONLY in the following case: The product received has a manufacturing defect or is physically damaged during transit. You must notify us within 15 calendar days from the date of delivery.
Returns are NOT accepted for:
  • Change of mind — if you no longer like the product or found a better price elsewhere.
  • Incorrect size/fit — ring sizes, chain lengths, or bangle diameters. Please refer to our size guide before ordering.
  • Natural variations — gemstones are natural; inclusions, color variations, and unique patterns are not defects but proof of authenticity.
  • Normal wear and tear — scratches, tarnishing, or minor discoloration after use.
  • Allergy or discomfort — we use high-quality metals, but we cannot guarantee against individual skin sensitivities.
  • Custom-made or personalized jewellery — items engraved or made-to-order are non-returnable under any circumstance (except complete damage during transit).

What is Considered a Manufacturing Defect?

We define a "defective product" as one that suffers from a genuine manufacturing flaw, such as:

  • Broken or loose stone setting (stone falling out or visibly unstable).
  • Broken clasp, jump ring, or chain link that prevents normal wear.
  • Missing or incorrect gemstone compared to product description (e.g., wrong colour or stone type).
  • Damaged/faulty plating that was present at the time of delivery (not caused by wear).
  • Incomplete product (missing certificates, branded box, or components).

Natural inclusions, slight colour variations, and visible facet lines are NOT defects — they are inherent characteristics of natural gemstones and add to the uniqueness of each piece.

Return Process (For Defective Items Only)

If you believe you have received a defective or damaged product, please follow these steps within 15 days of delivery:

  1. Document the issue: Take clear photographs and/or a short video showing the defect (close-up and full product).
  2. Email us at contact@lolostyle.com with the subject line: "RETURN REQUEST — [Order ID]".
  3. Include in your email: Order ID, product name, date of delivery, and clear description of the defect along with attached images/video.
  4. Our team will review your request within 2 business days. If the defect is confirmed, we will provide a return shipping label and instructions.
  5. Pack the item securely in its original packaging (including certificate, box, and any tags).
  6. Ship the product back to our warehouse address (provided in the return approval email) using the label we send.
  7. Once we receive and inspect the returned product (usually within 5-7 business days), we will process a full refund or replacement (subject to stock availability) as per your preference.
Important: Products must be returned in unused, unworn condition with all original tags, certificates, and packaging intact. Any item that shows signs of wear, resizing, or alteration will not be eligible for return.

15-Day Return Window

The return window is strictly 15 calendar days from the date of delivery (as per courier tracking confirmation). Requests submitted after 15 days will not be processed, even for defective items. We encourage you to inspect your jewellery immediately upon receipt.

Example: If your order was delivered on May 1st, the last day to file a return request is May 15th.

Refund & Replacement Process

Once your defective product is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will proceed as follows:

  • Replacement: If the same product is in stock, we will ship a replacement free of cost (including return shipping and redispatch). Delivery timeline for replacement: 5-7 business days after inspection.
  • Refund (if replacement not available or preferred):
    • Prepaid orders: Full refund (including original shipping charges) via the original payment method within 7-10 business days.
    • COD orders: Refund will be processed via bank transfer / UPI (you will be asked to provide bank details or UPI ID).

Refunds are issued only after the returned item passes our quality inspection. If the returned product is found to be non-defective or damaged by the customer, we will not issue a refund and will return the product back to you at your cost.

Return Shipping Charges

  • For confirmed defective/damaged items: LoloStyl bears the full cost of return shipping. We will provide you with a prepaid shipping label via Shiprocket.
  • If the product is found NOT defective after inspection: The customer will be responsible for return shipping charges (₹100 + GST) to receive the product back, and no refund will be issued.
  • Customer cancels return request mid-way: If you decide not to return after we have issued a label, you may be charged for the unused label cost.

Non-Returnable Items (Even if Defective?)

The following items are strictly non-returnable under any circumstances, including defects (unless the defect renders the product completely unusable and we are unable to replace):

  • Custom-made, bespoke, or personalized jewellery (engraved, custom size, or special order gemstones).
  • Earrings (for hygiene reasons) — unless the defect is major and the product has never been worn.
  • Products marked as "Final Sale", "Clearance", or "Sample Sale".
  • Gift cards or digital vouchers.
Note for earrings: For hygiene, earrings can only be returned if the factory seal/tag is intact and the product shows no signs of being tried on. Partial earring sets (single missing) cannot be returned.

Important: Size & Fit — No Returns

We strongly recommend reviewing our Ring Size Chart, Bangle Sizing Guide, and Chain Length Chart before placing an order. We do not accept returns or exchanges for wrong size selection. If you are unsure about your size, please contact our support team before ordering, or opt for our free size consultation service via WhatsApp.

If you receive a product that does not match the size you ordered (e.g., you ordered size 7 and received size 9), that is considered a defect and will be eligible for return under the 15-day policy.

Gemstone Authenticity Guarantee

All our gemstone jewellery comes with a certificate of authenticity. If a certified gemstone is found to be counterfeit (verified by an independent, NABL-accredited gem lab), we offer a 100% refund including return shipping, even beyond the 15-day period (up to 30 days). This is our separate authenticity guarantee and does not extend to general defects or wear issues.

Exchanges?

We do not offer exchanges for size, colour, or design preferences. The only exception is if we send you a completely incorrect product (e.g., you ordered a ruby ring and received an emerald pendant). In that case, please follow the same defect return process, and we will arrange a correct replacement at no extra cost.

Do not ship returns without prior approval. Unauthorized returns will be rejected and sent back to you at your expense.
